Winds of Chaos

Well this is a historic occasion. Cubicle7 recently released the High Elf Player’s Guide, an exploration of Ulthuan and it’s culture and intrigue. I’ve been waiting for this one since the late 80s and wasn’t a big fan of the Elf “warrior-dancer” from Hogshead’s Apocrypha Now, so this is particularly exciting for me. It’s got new careers, a look into Elven religion (Storm Weavers of Mathlann and Smith-Priests of Vaul look particularly interesting), rules for intrigues in the kingdoms of Ulthuan and beyond, and even High Magic (an elf who is in a Wizard career is considered to be “indulging a hobby” before they study true magic). From what I’ve read, this looks to be an excellent addition to WFRP and another great release for the 4e line.
