Re: The Enemy Within -- any sources for cards?

But seriously, enjoy. It's a great campaign, although we found that it starts a bit slow. It's been a bit slow, indeed, with the PCs finding a major clue in their first session, and then basically nothing but watching time go by for a couple sessions. But it is about to get more interesting! :twist...

Re: The Enemy Within -- any sources for cards?

Thank you both Chuck and Karanthir, who provided the clue cards independently of each other. Sorry for my delay in responding. I am prepping for tomorrows game after a two-week hiatus so came to see if anyone had been able to help me. Very much appreciate your help!!! The rest of the stuff I have be...

The Enemy Within -- any sources for cards?

I have the great fortune of having purchased a used The Enemy Within for 3rd edition at a reasonable price. I am going to start running it on Wednesday evening to my group. I received two small map sheets with the book. What I did not get is any cards. Actions, creatures, locations, items -- I'll ma...

Re: Roadwardens and pistols

Reading this thread I have started thinking about lowering the prices of firearms. I have explained the high cost of firearms by them using a wheellock mechanism, and that being new and complex, with only a few manufacturers (e.g., Dwarf shops in Nuln) being able to produce those. So high demand + l...

Missing: Pamphlet about mutants are people too!

I remember seeing a pamphlet handout arguing that mutants are people, too, and are our friends, family and neighbors. But now I cannot locate it, so I turn to the forums. Any idea where it might be found? I thought it was in Gideon's TEW Companion, but I just went through it it cannot find it. I the...

Re: The Enemy Within for Christmas.

Yes, I was referring to comments elsewhere online on the the B&M program itself -- saw some comments about how some publishers' products were not showing up as being supported though they should, how other publisher's full product range was not included, etc. I do realize this is an erroneous co...

Re: The Enemy Within for Christmas.

Anyone know of a mail order company in the US that takes part in Bits & Mortar? My FLGS does not, and I have been unlucky in trying to find one by searching online. I tried using https://www.bits-and-mortar.com/store-locator/ but it did not enlighten me. Based on some comments it seems like the...

Re: Death on the Reik: Getting PCs off the barge

Thanks for all the suggestions! "Sink the barge" is, of course, a great suggestion referring to WFRP lore, but it is not time for "Carrion" yet. :-) I did especially like the ideas of a municipal law/tax. I may add a fee for the guarding of the barge by some "entrepreneurs&q...

Death on the Reik: Getting PCs off the barge

My players got through the first part of TEW and are now the proud (temporary) owners of a barge. I want to start running Rought Nights & Hard Days as interludes. My problem is getting the PCs to an inn for the night while traveling: sleeping on the barge is free, keeps them all in one group, an...

Adjusting the Initiate career

I am bothered by the contrast between the Apprentice Wizard and Initiate basic careers. Am thinking about changing the Initiate career as a house rule. Wondering if anyone else has pondered the same thing and come to a solution, or if there are great arguments for why the career is perfect as is. Ba...

Switching to Apprentice Wizard career

How would you set up learning to do magic after a switch from a mundane career? Background I have a player who wants to play a wizard. I did random careers for character creation, he had no luck. He is not advancing in his career, instead is saving all his xp to switch to the Apprentice Wizard care...

Hägercrybs adventures?

Longtime lurker, first time poster. Are there any good adventures set in the Hägercrybs? My players are in Bögenhafen and a bit intrigued by the Hägercrybs. I do not recall seeing any adventures set there, but perhaps there are some? I am looking for something pretty well fleshed-out, not one paragr...
