Re: Garoosh - Our little piece of Ghur

Flameberg History Age of Myth The duardin from the Realm of Metal undercovered a magmatic Realmgate leading to the Realm of Beasts. Traveling through the Gate they established Gorankorund (Beastrealm Watchpost). What started as a small outpost to protect the gate quickly grew into a mighty fortress...

Re: Garoosh - Our little piece of Ghur

History of Garoosh Age of Myth During the Age of Myth the Silent People that inhabited the Beastgrave once dwelt here during their migrations. Their honeycombed amber caverns can still be found under Marrowfall Fortress. According to the legends they lived within a sentient mountain as tall as the ...

Garoosh - Our little piece of Ghur

Still very match work in progress (and will kind of always be since it's a living campaing) but I decided to share with some folks my progress on our campaign map and what's going on. It was originally only intended to be used with the Path to Glory campaign of Age of Sigmar (3rd edition), buuuut I ...

Re: Timeline Questions

I think that Age of Sigmar has been going on for at least a few hundred years. I seem to recall that Age of Myth was thousands of years ago. It's too vague to be certain but that sadly is the point.

Re: Welcome!

Hey! Should have posted here before spamming the rest of the boards! The same! ^____^ doc_cthulhu / Lauri Maijala here. Played WFRP a lot back in the 90s and in the beginning of 00s. Founder of the Daily Empire, and writer of some fan material some years ago. I was active on StS as well as FFG's fo...

Skavens of Bitter Moors

I’m absent-mindedly planing on GMing a campaign I brewed a few years back; it deals with small Skaven community Under-Bitter Moors. Some of the stuff I’ve written for it was published at the Daily Empire (back in 2015 or 2016?) but some of it hasn’t seen the light of the webs. Now I was considering ...

Re: Comparison with Zweihander

What you say might once have been true but let's admit it would be misleading to characterize Zweihander as "by the fans for the fans" now. For quite some time there's only one person publishing it, only one person getting any profits, only one person banned by rpg.net and Wikipedia for r...

Re: Comparison with Zweihander

My comparison of the systems should have been reviews of both games by reading them. Haven't played either. Mainly because 00% system just doesn't do anything for me right now. But for some reason I cannot find the review I wrote about Zweihänder in either of my blogs. I'm quite certain I did one. O...

Yay! Painting! Haven't played WFRP in years but painting Warhammer minis is still a weekly hobby.

Re: Mainstream Media Inspirations

I had a big list of movies at the Daily Empire. It hasn't been updated in years but old movies shouldn't suddenly go out of inspiration: http://dailyempire.guildredemund.net/art/movies
