Re: The two views of Bretonnia
in fact: The one described in WFRP1 and in WFB3 core books, corresponds to a very corrupted vision the French Grand Siècle ( circa the 17th and 18th centuries). The one described in WFB3's expansions corresponds to the very late French Mediæval Era ( circa the 14th and 15th centuries). I think this...

Re: Warhammer: The Old World
And with some luck there might be more period books coming in the future. "Tomb Kings" before Nagash, time when Sigmar was alive and so on. Pre-Sundering Ulthuan and so on. Lots of cool stuff that I'd love to see. But I'll have to see what this first one might be like.

Fan-made Bestiary?
I'm a bit curious but with all the various units from evil/"evil" factions in the three Total War games with a WFB setting, has anyone attempted to bring these many different opponents to the table top with some kind of fan-made Bestiary? I think it would could be very interesting to keep ...

Re: The two views of Bretonnia
There have been some various stabs at this from various fans, though I don't think much has been publicized. There is "The Corrupt Kingdom of Bretonnia", an excellent fan sourcebook for the first-edition WFRP. As it was published in early days of the Internet era, it was released in incre...

Re: Brainstorming how to adapt a one-shot.
My initial idea is that the walkie talkies are a number of connected magical items, or rune items, made with arts now lost which allows for communication over long distances also for mundane users of said items.

Maybe a quote from Dawn of War 2?

Sorry for late reply.
I wasn't aware of this fan supplement but it looks really cool and useful for this campaign.
Thanks for sharing!

PC participation in mass combat
Ok, so I've got a concept for a campaign down with the players playing mercenaries in the Old World and I think that I've straightened out most things for this campaign... But for one issue: That is how to make mass combat where the players participate as combatants interesting, engaging and giving ...

Re: Pirates of the Reik
When my group ran this part we didn't have much problem with pirates, true, the problem was with corrupt River Wardens who wanted to "inspect" and either steal stuff off the ship or get a fat bribe to not harass, arrest or something else on us. I think that I personally have grown to hate ...

Re: Questions on this game
I was a bit more worried that the the maps would be so detailed and officially described that there wouldn't be much space for inserting new elements into the setting. I like crossovers but I don't want to mess with official lore to much or usurp the main roles in the setting and lore with new stuf...

Re: Questions on this game
Thanks for shedding some light on this for me. 1:it uses pretty much the same general system their 40k game uses, get a pile of dice, roll against the number, pass the given amount to succeed. like always it's set up in a confusing arrangment but easy to learn once you figure out a good way of recal...

Questions on this game
I have a few questions. I'm looking for something to run and among the alternatives I have is Soulbound. But I know about nothing about it and so decided to come here with some questions for someone of learning regarding this game, some of which don't get answered in the normal reviews of the game. 1...

Re: The Southern Chaos Wastes
If the map that comes in the Beastmen army book is something to believe then the Southern Wastes are pretty heavily populated by Beastmen.

Re: Looking for RP-input on daily-life-behaviour of Sigmarian Warrior Priest
There have been many good suggestions here. My suggestion is boring and that is to take a look at the supplement "Tome of Salvation" to 2nd edition for some ideas about what the life of a priest in the Old World is like. ***** In my personal take on the Old World I'd say that being a Warri...

Re: Input needed for Nulner Skaven- hunting campaign
This is me perhaps steeping a bit beyond my expertise, but isn't there a Gotrek&Felix novel which is essentially about a Skaven plot to destroy Nuln? I know this is a novel and not a supplement but I figure that the literal depiction of a scenario like this could give both ideas about what to do...

Re: Elven Vampires
To be honest I've never read before that elves would be immune to the vampire curse, but thank for the info. But in regards to vampire elves, since this goes outsid of canon lore and such. I would think that it might be best to think about what kind of story you want this character to be and tailor ...
