Re: Any chance of a Soulbound subforum?

32 mm scale is annoying. I would play Old World if I could use my old WFB armies, but I'm not going to start over from scratch. I'm not keen on 32mm miniatures either, despite the extra level of detail that could be produced at that scale, because they take up so much more room than 28mm miniatures...

Re: Any chance of a Soulbound subforum?

The new Old World will be present with diffrent scale of minis. Different in scale to what? Do you know what scale they will be? Did you read that somewhere or is that speculation? They needed new idea for it and a way to remove it from the scene for a time being thats how it works in business and ...

Re: Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)

It makes sense that the Skaven and/or Horned Rat (whichever it may be) would use the same method again if it worked before and most people are completely unaware of it having even occurred.

WFRP x AOS Soulbound

Could any of the AOS Soulbound material be used in WFRP (first, second, third or fourth edition versions of the Warhammer world)?
Is there room in the AOS Soulbound universe for more WFRPesque type play?

Re: You can't get there from here. Not until Tuesday.

I guess the redundancy of Realmgates in that respect depends on how big the realms are @Hyarion.

I mean it's make or break for the director's cut of The Enemy Within Campaign.

That sounds like Skavenblight to me. This is make or break for me.

Hints of Cathay.

Some of you might be familiar with Games Workshop's posts about the Olde World and with the post about Total War: Warhammer III revealing that Cathay will be in the game . I think the "Lady of the Commandery Yabo Chao, Weijin’s Venerated Envoy" in one of the recent Cubicle 7 posts must be from Catha...

Re: Is Imperial polytheism realistic?

Is there a clear dividing line between henotheism and polytheism? I could imagine a polytheistic society with henotheistic tendencies and cults. Also, i don't know that the real world provides enough samples by which to reach any hard and fast conclusions about how realistic a given fictional polyth...

Re: The Timeline and after the End Times

I have a massive amount of my own lore for more or less every region. There's a whole separate thing about the Estalian Kingdom of Los Cabos being on the verge of forming a coastal Empire from the Border Princes to Marienburg for example. Kislev is deeply involved in Ostland politics and so on. Fee...

Re: The Timeline and after the End Times

I very much like the 'mundane realpolitik' following the high(er) fantasy Storm Of Chaos. I think that there could be more of this realpolitik in this version of the present day Olde World. I could imagine the PCs being faced with the consequences, such as: a 'corrupted artifact' that could have bee...

Re: Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)

The odd thing is that Power Behind the Throne makes several references to Middenland and the duchy of Middenheim being separate entities, and Nordland rather than Middenland being ruled by Middenheim in 2512 (as well as heavy foreshadowing about Nordland separatists). That could all be a matter of ...

Re: Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)

I would hope that the developers at Cubicle 7 understand the difference between Middenheim, the Duchy of Middenheim, and Middenland (and, for bonus points, Nordland), such as they were, if they still are.

Re: Question about Marienburg & Potion Square

I don't recall Potion Square's location within the Luydenhoek island ever being specified and i can't find anything definitive as i take a look through again now. I think you must know all of this already, but, to be clear, the Luydenhoek is one of the islands in the Suiddock . The Suiddock is locat...

Re: Where are you starting the PCs in the 4e Enemy Within?

Much appreciated Capitaneus Fractus. I take it that these weren' originally designed for The Enemy Within campaign and that you've added them in. I'm interested to look at them.
