Re: Eye for an Eye 4E conversion

I don't think Aschaffenberg will pop up in the Enemy Within, but who knows. Andreas von Bruner is all over the Ubersreik Sourcebook though. Spoiler free maps, as noted in the contents page is at https://www.patreon.com/posts/hunting-lodge-32869721 and the guy ho commissioned the maps made them avail...

Re: Eye for an Eye 4E conversion

It starts in Ubersreik, and it let me nerd out my DTP skills. I did think about releasing an Old World Adventures variant cover as it is an old adventure and that line has been neglected by C7.

Eye for an Eye 4E conversion

Whatho all. I've made a 4e conversion for the Eye for an Eye conversion at https://perilousrealm.itch.io/eye - this was the starting adventure for 3rd Edition. You can download it free at https://perilousrealm.itch.io/eye and I hope you enjoy it. This is a recreation of the original introductory 3rd...

Re: Perilous Realm Podcast :The Thousand Thrones

Greetings all, With the recent lockdown I have been working from home, which means I can edit this old podcast whilst working. Webhosting is down at the moment - someone's cybersquatting on the old site, so all the downloads are offline for the moment, but I'll rectify this soon. So - the return of ...

1-2 years I could believe. 11 years is a little unlikely though.

Re: Adjusting the Initiate career

Actually in OD&D clerics didn't get spells until 2nd level. In the lore of WFRP I'm happy with the 1e/2e approach as it means that not every priest is a spell-caster. Divine magic is relatively rare, not ubiquitous. It also allows for most of the clergy to be non-spellcasting, making friars, fla...

Re: Major shake-up at Cubicle 7

Is that from the developer diaries or have the said this somewhere else as well? Personally I've no idea why they don't have a section of their website where they don't say something like:- "Enemy In Shadows volume 1, expected release date October 2019". The emphasis on Expected, as of cou...

Re: End Times: Nagash - the 'Good'

I read the Nagash books (the gamebook and the novel) for the Quenelles project I was working on and there is a surprising amount of wordbuilding in it (especially given it was designed to destroy the world), especially for the Bretonnians. There's the Dowager of Charnote, who crops up in a Bretonnia...

Re: Major shake-up at Cubicle 7

I have to admit Andy, Andy and Lindsay's departure is a massive shame and does suggest there's Something Rotten in Meath. That said Cubicle 7 need to be a bit more transparent with what's going on, in particular with release dates. They've got 12 books in the pipeline at least, 17-18 months left on ...

Re: Perilous Realm Podcast :The Thousand Thrones

Once more we release an episode into the void where, hopefully, someone is listening where all podcasts can be found, and here as well . Having sought sanctuary from the deprivation of the Drakwald within the walls of the Reaper's Bounty our companions three are surprised to discover everyone has se...

Re: Enemy Within Volume Three announced!

I think the new post-TEW campaign that Cubicle 7 have announced sounds a little like the exploratory campaign that Pour la Gloire d'Ulric was supposed to posit. (As an aside C7 announced a campaign that will see the PCs visit Lustria and Ulthuan, which is being written with Gav Thorpe - a prolific B...

I should get on with my Perilous Realm Bretonnian campaign then, set in Quenelles and Athel Loren. :D
Knight of the Lady wrote: Thu Jul 18, 2019 6:02 am Good, good. Now after Enemy Within we only need a sourcebook for Bretonnia and perhaps a small campaign set in that part of the Old World and it will make my decade. :)

Re: Enemy Within Volume Three announced!

Yes, @FasterThanJesus did mention it before. To be honest the Dev Diaries are a very strange way of marketing and releasing information that really can only benefit C7 if it's in the public domain, but that's just me.... To further add to the rumour mill Andy Law had this to say about the Power Behi...

They've also announced Middenheim City of the Wolf and Altdorf City of Sigmar as city sourcebooks, not part of the TEW perse, but definitely of use during the campaign and beyond

Re: Videos and Podcasts

The Ratcatcher's Guild in the Ubersreik gazetteer is literally the devs of Vermintide. They even are led by a follower of Stromfels because the company is called Fat Shark. :D Yeah, a WFRP CRPG would be awesome in the veins of Baldur's Gate or the earlier Dragon Age. Choose to play a rat-catcher, an...

Re: Enemy Within Volume Two announced! (And a gamemaster screen's too!)

My thoughts are that Carrion on Up the Reik was James Wallis's plan to insert a few threads he intended to pick up in the 5th unpublished Empire in Chaos. The Grand Theogonist, who the PCs are meant to save from the Sons of Ulric and thus be owed a favour by, and the old priest they meet were defini...

We're back! We have the last part of our Chapter 2 playthrough, where the Company of the Tattered Cloak deal with the fallout from the attack on Pfeifeldorf.
