Re: Major shake-up at Cubicle 7
At this rate, I'm just hoping we get *something*. Honestly, I doubt we'll see anything beyond TEW re-release before the license expires.

Re: High mage question
Here's one take on how I might do High Magic. This is somewhat off the cuff, so if you need any explanations please ask, I'm happy to go into further detail. - Arcane spells can now combine lore traits from any lore(s) the wizard knows at a -10 penalty for each additional lore. (Blast benefits from ...

Re: Major shake-up at Cubicle 7
I'd settle for just an updated timeline for releases. With the shakeup, it would seem to be an appropriate time.

Re: Origins of the Gods.
What I had planned was to have a grand plot of Tzeentch to eject Ulric, Hoeth, and Grungni from the Aethyr and put into bodies to take away the Empire's ability to fight/courage (Ulric), the Elves' magic (Hoeth), and the Dwarves' iron will (Grungni). Part of the PC's jobs, then, would be to find a w...

Origins of the Gods.
I'm putting this under the 4th Edition sub-forum because (eventually) it is in relation to the 4th edition campaign I am running. If that is a mistake, my apologies, please move it to the proper forum. **Brad, Mael, read this at your own risk. ** A lot of this stems from my recent re-reading of the ...

Albion and the New World sounds like *GREAT* opportunities for an Elf Sourcebook. TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO WFRP PUBLISHER HAS GONE BEFORE! *cough*
And now for something completely different...

Whenever I hear "turf war" my mind goes to the movie A Fistful of Dollars. Might be worth a (re)watch if you are unfamiliar.

Re: Fairy-Feller's Masterstroke: Introduction
On a related note, bearing in mind that "No plot survives contact with the PC's", to what level of detail should I be writing out the events of the campaign?
What level of detail would be helpful for others who may want to run this for their own groups?

Fairy-Feller's Masterstroke: Introduction
The introduction to a campaign I am writing for my group, comments welcome. The Forgotten Past... During the year 1999IC, the God-Emperor Sigmar passed judgment on the city of Mordheim bringing a comet onto the city and leaving it a smoking ruin. Since then, few have had any reason to return to the ...

Re: The hidden daemons of the mists: A treatise on the history, biology and society of the Fimir
Second paragraph of the introduction, "..Sigmar's struggles against a cult of monsters one eye who worship..." , should that not be "...a cult of one eyed monsters who worship..."?
Looks great, still reading through it.

Re: Rules questions
The rules seem to be a bit less clear compared to WFRP v1? Remove the question mark, that is a true statement. 2. Strength was one of the best advantages a combat oriented PC could buy in WFRP 1/2; not anymore it seems, or am I missing something? Since dmg is also depending on WS I would be better ...

Re: House rules
One rule that my group uses: Toughness in combat can only absorb TB wounds per round. Character A has a Toughness of 40 and is wearing Light Armor. A is hit for 8 wounds, he takes 3 (8 - A's TB - Light Armor). If A gets hit again in that same round for 7 wounds he only subtracts his Light Armor and ...

Re: Melee (Parry) and Shields
There has been no clarification that I know of, official or otherwise. I am really hoping that by answering and trying to similarly seek some clarity, the controversy from StS does not rise here again. As I look at the Two Weapon Fighting section on page 163, I do see where *attacking* with an off-h...

Re: Heresy Unleashed: Have AoS Battletomes something to offer?
So I took a look, they are definitely not elf souls. There are some references to the "protectors" of the mythic past aka the old world, but those are just half remembered things and legends (like how the old protectors used to rally around cloth banners).

Re: Heresy Unleashed: Have AoS Battletomes something to offer?
Full disclosure, I've only flipped through the Sylvaneth Battletome briefly and that is the limit of my experience with them. I think they will be supremely useful if/when C7 gets around to publishing the Age of Sigmar RPG. What I saw was really useful for helping to set the tone both for the charac...
