Re: Best object quests
You could probably get a lot of good mileage out of various episodes of Star Trek which revolve around running out of fuel, finding scientists in hiding, parts for a ship, missing colonists, etc. If you want a heist theme, you could look at Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home. If you want more of a combat ...

Re: Lore of Life
That's quite reasonable. I'd probably either move Healing Hand to the Lore of Life and/or allow Earthblood to also apply to the caster.

1) Priests of any religion can cast Petty Magic (Divine) Blessing of Healing. 2) Wizards of the Light College can cast Healing of Hysh 3) Shallayan Priests specifically can cast Cure Wounds 4) Priests of Sigmar can cast Healing Hand. Making healing too common would obviate the need for Barber Surgeo...

Nice ones, KnightOfTheLady, Orin, and Hallucyon. Which reminds me, if the players ever need a lawyer, there's always the Law Offices of Dewey, Cheatum, and Howe.

All good drama/action/thrillers make good use of lighter elements to help relieve tension before building it back up, good writers do the same thing. One of the things that makes Warhammer so delightful is that it includes those bits of whimsy and doesn't take itself too seriously. What are some thi...

Disclaimer, I am not familiar with Stranger Things, so I'm afraid that's not much help for me to frame my thoughts, my deep apologies in advance if I'm not understanding something. Question 1) Are you restricting races to humans only? --How different races age/mature will be a big factor in this. Qu...

That's the name of it, The WFRP Companion. The cover has a picture of a ship being torn apart by a squid-like thing.

I'll second that!
Regardless of Facebook groups (I've seen a few names that I can attach to usernames), and Reddit, it's forums like StS and WindsOfChaos that will always be home for me. A deep and heartfelt THANK YOU to Chuck.

1) To make the investigation more interesting, you could add a few red herrings, like interviewing the midwife who didn't notice anything mutation with the baby in question, but did notice some strange things with another family who also gave birth on the same day. 2) Add lots of things that *can* s...

You can have other characters roll perception to see whether they spot rocks/logs below the water. Ballistic Skill (or other) to throw ropes around trees to tie off at night. Navigation tests to know whether to take the right or left fork in the river. Also bear in mind that travel during the night ...

To the members of the Honorable and Fraternal Order of the Extremely Irate Water Buffalo, a very sophisticated Chaos cult, the Purple Hand is nothing but a bunch of amateurish hacks who risk too much. If they succeed, they risk bringing more witch hunters to the area (who might accidentally find/exp...

If Advantage has you that worried, there are plenty of good solutions that aren't very difficult or intrusive that have been presented here. Which one works for you will, I guess, depend on what exactly has you worried with Advantage?

I have no qualms about changing written source material to in order to set the tone that I want in the setting that I want to tell the story that I want with the group that I have. As I suspect that many WFRP GMs already do with the way that Bretonnia, Norsca, Chaos Cults, etc have changed over succ...
