Seem to be onto something there, i think. i don't know the full plan you have for this, but best of luck!

Re: Crossover idea between Warhammer and the Iron Kingdoms
i mean, it's not a bad idea but i have to warn against hyarion's suggestion. without the witch king the dark elves don't have any real point and you wind up with a lot of weird plot holes a canny player might exploit (i mean i would). anyways, given skorne's design they'd work well as either a fragi...

Re: Levelling up NPCs
Sorry to say, but i haven't found any quick or easy way for ballparking adversarial NPCs yet. between the game mechanics being very hard to keep balanced and ultimately designed to push the player group into having the advantage in a fight you pretty much have to buckle down and do everything the ha...

i don't like sharing things like that without a few dry runs, so i'm months away from having anything ready (at best).

Re: Gurkhal's Careers for Bretonnia and Beyond
Hey, it's part of the knight's oath to protect the peasants! sure that might not mean they care about them and the flog them from time to time, but if someone (else) comes around making unfair demands of them and claiming they have a god's favor on their side well that smacks of blasphemy. and what ...

Re: The Enemy Within to come...
we don't know, but andy law's method seems to be to 1:include everything they can at 2:pushing back the release date like a half-dozen times and cutting into the time they have to edit the finished material for quality. they're supposedly rewriting a fair amount of it, to boot.

Re: Gurkhal's Careers for Bretonnia and Beyond
Oh don't get me wrong, i'm not implying that the nobles have any concerns about peasants getting manipulated (beyond the risk of it cutting into their own rule, i suppose) i mean that there's a rather obnoxious amount of traveling knights out looking for something they can call an "evil cult&qu...

Re: Gurkhal's Careers for Bretonnia and Beyond
i think bretonnia is actually a lot harder for cults of personality to get by in- mostly in that questing and grail knights tend to rove around looking for anything suspect that might impose on the grace the lady provides by way of nobles tending to their villages hoping to find evil to thwart. seem...

and then it gets to hit again- i put up the suggestion to give the adventurers an option of winning the required combat without having to be good at combat.

Offical ogre suppliment?
I recall there being a small article about using Ogres as playable characters, but i'm having trouble finding it just now. Was this a real thing, or some fan product that i'm remembering as being much better made than it actually was? And does anyone know where it might be if it's just fanwork?

Re: If looks could kill
i'm not clear how using fortune/resolve for it's explicit purpose is clever, but the concern isn't that it might gain the advantage and they'll be unable to remove, it's that it's likely to gain the advantage regardless of them resetting it. My suggestion was about providing an environmental advanta...

Re: If looks could kill
if your concern is how fighting the monster is gonna go, throwing more bodies at it may not be the answer, since it can kill a hit of them and get a big advantage stack making trying to fight it pointless. you might want to telegraph something to drop on it and stun it if things are looking like the...

Re: 2nd ed. Opinions on home rules
The issue I have with not giving str bonus to damage but using it as a max for degrees of success is that this kind of ruins the type of character or monster that is the low skill brute. Take the giant for an extreme example the monster has a very low WS something like 28 I think but relys on hard ...

Re: 2nd ed. Opinions on home rules
i think the most important thing would be to limit the degree of countering attacks players get, to encourage them to move around more rather than trying to focus on getting all their attacks out to overcome the other side's defenses, rather than adding to their damage. but another way might be to m...
