Re: Major shake-up at Cubicle 7
I was tremendously delighted to hear Enemy Within was in the works. But all this feels like a gutshot.

Re: Cathay sourcebook?
Oh wow! Don't care much for End Times as it reads like something from World of Warcraft.
But the rest is all good!

Hi again,
Would anyone know where to get the Cathay sourcebook which was floating around some years ago?
Thank you.

Re: The Enemy Within to come...
I am actually surprisingly happy. Not that interested in the new ruleset, 2nd edition works well enough for me, but I do hope the new TEW is a good one. And the sourcebooks.

Re: The Enemy Within to come...
Okay, now I am interested. Not a fan of Storm of Chaos, but was quite certain it needs to factor in. No idea how’d they make it all work so quite relieved they did not even try. I will place a preorder. Not for the whole box, but the first books. EDIT: 4th edition is its own thing, right? Meaning th...

Re: The Enemy Within to come...
I’m new to all this. Is the new Enemy Within pre or post Storm of Chaos?

Re: Undead (vampires) in Old World
Yeah, I have the pdf. Yeovil might have taken liberties it comes to the setting, but his stuff does work like Alex DeLarge put it: ”Oh bliss, bliss and heaven... Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh... And then, a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal, or like silvery wine flowing in a spac...

Re: Undead (vampires) in Old World
I half remember Crescent Moon mentioned in Beasts in Velvet in a way seemed to me it was quite common knowledge it was a place for vampires.

True, that is a fair point. And that they would be all be clean of heart and pure.

Re: Undead (vampires) in Old World
People, and I’d imagine that it would be most of them, no doubt would leave such a place be, just that it does not seem believable witch hunters and templars of Morr and others allowed it to exist. Is there any mention of how the politics with Sylvania were handled, for example? Something Rotten was...

Undead (vampires) in Old World
This mostly as I started reading Drachenfels. Jack Yeovil novels refer to the Crescent Moon tavern as a place the undead seem to frequent. And with the counts of Sylvania does this mean vampires are somewhat tolerated? I find it odd and somewhat too high fantasy and/or Discworld (which is not so sur...

Re: Warhammer novels, and short stories
Did not know Dixon, but the rest were familiar! What I meant I found the rapid point of view changes and cuts to other locations made it seem like a fun popcorn romp.
Also made me look into the rest of the Warhammer stuff Newman wrote.

Re: Warhammer novels, and short stories
Finished Beasts in Velvet. It was a lot of fun, though the way it was written felt to me more like a B movie than a novel. Still, very entertaining!
