Re: Beyond The Enemy Within campaign, upcoming releases
Any idea of when the print version of the first Enemy Within volume is going to be out?

Re: The Daily Empire
The main news this week has been Ian Miller's Kickstarter for a tarot deck featuring his art (including the opportunity to get a signed print of the DotR cover image. I posted about that twice because it's ending this coming Tuesday already - if you're interested, you have to pledge now! Otherwise, ...

Re: Looking for really dark adventure
Since Wim's opened the gates to horn-tooting, I'll point to my scenario, A Bitter Harvest. You can get its original, 2e version from the Daily Empire website (link in sig), but it was considered grim and perilous enough to be converted and made into the intro scenario for Zweihänder's core rulebook....

Re: The Daily Empire
Just one post this week with any meat in it. I dug out some notes I made about using the Law skill in 2e, lightly edited and posted them. IIRC, I'd posted them to StS back in the day, but with that forum gone, I figured I'd give them a home on the blog. Comments welcome! Link in the sig.

Re: The Daily Empire
I updated twice again this week, once with a video reconstruction of a sixteenth-century castle, and again with a look at the overly-taxing 4e damage system.

The Daily Empire
So I've returned to updating doc_cthulhu's blog The Daily Empire (link in my sig), after a year's hiatus. I've several posts up already, e.g. on Passive Perception or dietary restrictions on WFRP religions, but in the latest, Dark Knight of the Twisted Moon has agreed to let me host his TobCon scena...

Re: 20% off from the C7 store with the new Humble Bundle
It's a good map. My only significant complaint is that it doesn't appear to be UK standard A3 leaving me a slight gap at the top and bottom of the frame. When you say you picked it up with the pre-order: does it come with the new TEW? In the webstore, it seems to be sold separately, but if you get ...

Re: 20% off from the C7 store with the new Humble Bundle
So it's definitely worth getting?FasterThanJesus wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 8:10 am Nice.
I picked up the Reikland map when preordering TEW and have it in an A3 poster frame. I kinda wish I got 2 as when I start running TEW next year, I'd like to annotate one to map the group's progress. A similar map of Middenheim would be nice for PBtT.

20% off from the C7 store with the new Humble Bundle
So the new Humble RPG Book Bundle is for Rogue Trader, but even the $1 minimum gets you a 20% coupon for the C7 store.
It doesn't apply to pre-orders so you won't be able to get Enemy in Shadows with it, but I'm thinking of picking up the Reikland map, for example.

Re: Does anyone know anything about Bögensee?
Huh. So there is. Thanks for pointing that out. You reminded me that had a hi-res pdf of the map as part of the starter kit. There are also a bunch of settlements between the Bögensee and Castle Drachenfels, which is good because that's exactly where I was going to place a scenario I've been conside...

Municipal law in favour of local hostelries making it illegal to sleep in your barge.

Does anyone know anything about Bögensee?
So at the head of the River Bögen in the Grey Mountains, the latest Reikland map has a lake and town called Bögensee. It's not in the Gazetteer in Sigmar's Heirs and Google hasn't helped me further. Is there anything official about it at all? I don't have all the latest releases from C7, so maybe I'...

Re: Cathay sourcebook?
So I discovered the site that had the Ind scans and they're lost to the ether. Unfortunately it also looks like I deleted them in an overenthusiastic purge of pdfs. Damn. :( Use Wayback machine? Tried it. The links are all dead. The blogger has saved some of the scenarios, but not the Ind stuff. He...

Re: Cathay sourcebook?
There also was a very small eleven pages scenario and context unofficial supplement set in Ind in the French roleplaying games magazine Casus Belli #33-35 (of the second numbering). THANK-YOU!!! I'd been racking my brains about where I'd seen that and could not find it at all (I kept thinking I'd s...
