Re: Enemy Within Volume Two announced! (And a gamemaster screen's too!)

I'm quite pleased to see these but I still think C7 needs to work out how they communicate these. Really Cubicle 7's site should be the one-stop for news on what they're releasing, but instead we keep finding out more from retailer sites and gossip sites. That said it looks like Andy Law is making g...

Weird Night at the Wolfshead On a dark, stormy night a group of travelers make their way through the Drakwald but are forced to make an unexpected stop in the Old World's most unique hostelry. The Wolfshead Coaching Inn’s warm lights and tall walls offer protection against the shambling horrors of t...

Re: Return of the Lichemaster

I believe there is also a short story with him with Kell just prior to the End Times that's in the 1st issue of the new Inferno by Josh Reynolds. They were going to do a "Heroes" book on Kemmler before they switched to the End Times and this short story would've been a precursor to that. 2...

Re: Do we have any ETA on Rough Night and TEW:DC?

It was released as a PDF drivethrurpg briefly the other day before it was pulled. Some folks have it. Which presumably means it isn't long until the rest of us can order it. I held out for the printed book + pdf combo.

In the Hogshead I think this appeared in the Apocrypha book. They don't actually show up in the module though, so your GM did some good improv there.

Re: Return of the Lichemaster

There's several Lichemaster scenarios. They were originally WFB scenarios - "Terror Of The Lichemaster" is one of the original WFB campaigns, "Vengeance Of The Lichemaster" is the sequel. Then there's Advanced Heroquest's expansion called Terror In The Dark where the Lichemaster ...

Re: Warhammer novels, and short stories

You can get Mark of Damnation for £3 on Amazon ATM. Most Warhammer Fantasy novels are available there for a reasonable price. I agree with the Warhammer Chronicles thing though - it's a shame they're not doing more WF stories as their new horror range would be perfect for the Old World. It's a lot ...

Re: Your opinion on Thousand Thrones and Restless Dead campaings

Eureka: I understand this is sort of the great lost WFRP 1E adventure, not included in any other reprints but this book. The PCs are hired to protect a crazy inventor from thugs who turn out to be corrupt Watchmen. It seems kind of fun, but also pretty railroaded and heavily slanted towards ending ...

Re: Warhammer novels, and short stories

I'm not sure Gotrek and Felix are in Doomstones. They're definitely more WFB than WFRP as the two tend to be more pulp untouchable heroes. They're slaying avatars of gods and are gifted immortality and useful magical items over and over. I always recommend James Wallis's Mark of Heresy and Mark of D...

Re: Your opinion on Thousand Thrones and Restless Dead campaings

I've ran most of Restless Dead and 3 chapters of TTT. TTT is much more satisfying than Restless Dead, which really is just a set of disparate adventures linked together by the most tenuous links. And I say this as a massive Carl Sargent fanboy, and with the knowledge that TTT is also a disparate set...

Re: Enemy With Shadows Details

Any new WFRP sounds exciting. The art looks sumptuous and reminiscent of the 1e with enough newness. Do you think they'll make the August 2019 deadline? Some of the encounters are from the Restless Dead/White Dwarf. I'm not familiar with the Pandemonium Caravan, and when I ran Restless Dead I skippe...

Re: Scenario contest?

I think Chuck's initial idea was to create some new 4e adventures as beyond the two published adventures and the starter set pdf there isn't a lot out there.

4e scenarios aren't the most mechanic heavy although the system is crunchy. So I'm in favour of them being 4e statted. But that's just my 2c.

Thanks. It was a fun scenario and I was looking forward to running it for a few years now. There's another session of metaplot and PC baiting in Pfeifeldorf and then I'm looking forward to the Reapers Bounty.

Depending on when you hold it I'd be in. Perhaps a theme, like the scenarios should feature Ubersreik from the Starter Set, or is that too restrictive?

Re: The Enemy Within to come...

Half in 2019 and half in 2020 seems a massive leap in C7's output rate. It's a shame, as 2e had a massive output rate but low quality control as a whole, while the polar opposite seems to be true with C7. I want both. :D

Re: Gurkhal's Careers for Bretonnia and Beyond

Well, my approach to it would be similar to 2e's regional talents, rather than explicitly making Human (Bordeleaux Highborn) and Human (Couronne Lowborn) as explicit races. You say tomato, I say... One of my favourite exchanges with my Knight Errant PC in our campaign went along the lines of... &quo...
