Re: Rules
1) From the description of the Talent I do not see how it gives double advantage. The hit + condition should count as one or you will start having problems with Critical Hits also. In addition, most of the people from what I read limit advantage up to Initiative Bonus. 2) Shooting a large opponent s...

Re: If looks could kill
With outnumbering rules and using dodge to defend, I cannot see how this monster can pile up in advantage. It defends itself from attacks with its agility only.

Re: If looks could kill
Clever use of fortune and resolve can strip any creature of advantage.

Re: WFRP 4 analysis
that's not how 4th solved whiffing with opposed rolls. they solved whiffing by removing the ability to apply multiple layers of failure to an attack and forcing it into a single opposed roll for each attack. instead of an attack being successfull if it hits AND if it isn't parried AND if it isn't d...

Re: WFRP 4 analysis
When you make many rolls (as you do in combat) Opposed Tests work fine, and this is also why WFRP4 has solved the whiffiness of WFRP2- that's not how 4th solved whiffing with opposed rolls. they solved whiffing by removing the ability to apply multiple layers of failure to an attack and forcing it ...

Re: WFRP 4 analysis
How many out of combat opposed rolls are needed as per your experience Cap? I mean in which situations you would use opposed rolls?

Re: WFRP 4 analysis
OK, now I got what you mean about the +20. From my experience with WFRP, players always asked me about any modifier for the roll. This was the case in all editions due to the easy, hard, etc. of the surrounding circumstances. To make the treatment of advantage more universal you can make it work lik...

Re: WFRP 4 analysis
The unopposed +20%, from what I read, applies only in combat. I do not see the use of it in skills. In skills, DM may change the percentage due to circumstances.

Thank you a lot for your effort. As mentioned above, I would be very interested to see your thoughts for the Director's Cut version. Definitely your job is outstanding!

Re: Thousand Thrones
My personal issue with TTT is that the players are not much involved in the story and their actions affect very little. It has great atmosphere, interesting story, but it need much DM fiat to keep the party going.
