Re: The Enemy Within: a Companion

Just finished reading part V: amazing job, I'm a big fan of your work! !!

Thanks for sharing it!

Edit:

PS: does the look-alike plot hook get developed in the Companion? Probably I missed that part if so...
I think let that falling to nothing it's one of the biggest writing mistake of the whole TEW

Actually - if you use the original rules from 1st edition that is pretty much the norm.
I realized this was a 1st edition topic :D
I played 2nd...sorry.

Hiwever my approach would be the one I've described: PC down, alive unconscious with all his body parts attached.

Re: A WFRP 2e Character Builder

... Did the code actually run ok for you? Before doing more I was hoping to get a sense of whether the thing actually works on other people's computers... At the moment I don't have the time to dedicate to WFRP except lurking in the forums, I don't even play anymore. No personal offense but I would...

Re: A WFRP 2e Character Builder

It would be great for sure! Can't remember exactly but iirc CC still don't have ToC chaos careers.

Beware that published CC made a mess with career entrie&exits though. There should be a official FFG errata about that aspect. Look around, if you can't find it PM me, I'll check on my old notebook.

Re: Fate points and critical hits

I've played wfrp since 2006. I've always seen PCs killed by 9+ critics of more rarely blood loss, but the blood loss critics with no loss of any body part... I know, it seems impossible :D I never decided what I was going to do with critics that take apart body parts. Probably today I would go with ...

Re: Thousand Thrones

Graak: that reworking of Chapter 2, very nicely done. Genius! Wow, thank you for the positive feedback! After several years of GMing I realized I hate to waste pre-written adventure, shredding them to pieces and salvaging the good bits (unless the adventure is really, really bad). In part it could ...

Re: Thousand Thrones

Well, Chuck, thanks for the insight and the transparency of your answers! It is very nice to understand how we got certain books/adventures (for the good or the bad). From my experience I saved Chapter 2 masking the obligatory plot hook in a more elaborated way, still respecting the main structure o...

Just yesterday evening I was complaining with my wife about how much useful informations and contributions we are actually losing thanks to the ephemeral nature of Facebook posting system and Discord chats. I can bear Reddit, although it lacks in internal structure (Flares can’t efficiently substitu...

Re: Zapp's House Rules

Again I'm here to say thank you for the rules. If I can I would like to stress out the one that was most important to me: the rule about the number of attacks you can make when you don't chose Swift Attack. It literally saved my games. It made combat less static and less predictable (compared to Cha...
