It's up, though doesn't say a great deal.

Mike Brunton has passed away

It has been announced in a few other places, but not yet here, as far as I can see. Veteran WFRP writer Mike Brunton died suddenly last week. For those who do not know him Mike was a major figure in WFRP's first edition. He was often the fixer who got difficult projects back on track and did the dir...

Re: The Enemy Within to come...

I also find it strange that the Companion covers Middenland and a separate source book will contain Middenheim. I wonder if they've suffered a bad case of feature creep. Personally I think separate city books is a good idea. There didn't seem to be much room to expand the original Power Behind the ...

Re: Enemy Within Volume Three announced!

Seems a bit early to be announcing this honestly. wonder what their goal is.... The post doesn't actually seem to be a product announcement, but just a preview of the cover art. That's probably why details are sparse. There are a couple of interesting nuggets, though: 1. "This adventure is sig...

Re: Enemy With Shadows Details

So the link, as weak as it was, was present before James Wallis's Carrion up the Reik. Yes, as I mentioned above, there was a suggestion to play The Enemy Within after The Oldenhaller Contract, but there were no narrative links between the two before Carrion Up the Reik; and The Oldenhaller Contrac...

Re: Reworkings of The Oldenhaller Contract?

I have an incomplete write-up of a reworking of 'The Oldenhaller Contract'. I was at some point going to finish it off and post it on my blog (under the title 'The Oldenhaller Amendment'). Unfortunately it'll be a long while before I get round to finishing it, but I'll try to dig out what I have for...

Parts of StS are still available. Try this thread: http://forum.strike-to-stun.net/viewtopic.php?p=80476&highlight=#80476 As for using WFRP4 rules and staying in careers, try the following: 1. The cost of advances increases: Up to +10 100 EP Up to +20 200 EP Up to +30 300 EP Up to +40 400 EP So ...

Yes, it's a reworking of an Ian Miller drawing from Shadows Over Bögenhafen.

Re: Enemy With Shadows Details

1. The Oldenhaller Contract has to my knowledge never been part of The Enemy Within campaign. The original GW printing ending the adventure with a suggestion to follow it up with The Enemy Within, but that was just an invitation to buy GW's products, not an implication that they were part of the sam...

Re: The Words of the Law

I have had no official involvement with any WFRP products; I am just a fan, like most people here. Awesome Lies is a random collection of thoughts mainly about WFRP1, but also a little about other WFRP editions and WFB. 'The WFRP Story' is a series of posts discussing the real-world origins of WFRP,...

http://grognard.org.uk/WFRP1-Archive/Scenario/WebOfEldaw.zip I couldn't open the map gif, but I could get the text at least. Thanks. I hadn't seen that. It does seem to have a copy of the original text in .txt form, which is great, but it is missing the maps and formatting of the original. Does any...

The Web of Eldaw

Help! I was planning to write a blog post about this adventure from the Good Games Guide in 1985, but I've discovered that I have somehow lost my copy, and it seems no amount of searching will uncover it. I had presumed there would be PDFs of it lying around the internet, but even they seem to have ...

Re: The Enemy Within: a Companion

Can Ernst Heidlemann be the messenger who delivered the scroll from Etelka Herzen to Johannes Teugen? I actually suggested Heidlemann as the courier in the following post, though I assumed he would travel by barge: https://awesomeliesblog.wordpress.com/2017/01/28/twists-in-the-tale/ The only diffic...

Re: Remixing Death on the Reik: The schemes of the Red Crown and the Wittgenstein meteorite (very long)

I'm not really sure you need any input on this, since your ideas seem to be pretty good on their own, but I've scribbled down some quick thoughts of my own. A lot depends on what you decide regarding cult affiliations (in your other thread). I think you combined my ideas in the Call of Cthulhu versi...

Re: The Enemy Within: a Companion

Is fleur macabre (TEWAC, p. 203) the name of a real plant? I don't think so. It was just a desperate invention! I've just Googled it and found it is also the title of a Gothic novel by Isabel Stewart Way: https://www.fictiondb.com/author/isabel-stewart-way~fleur-macabre~2184569~b.htm It's a complet...
