Re: Bit of info about archives of the empire
Great to hear Mad Alfred is writing some pieces for Cubicle 7. I'm encouraged.

Re: Middenheim: City of the White Wolf
The PDF is available. I'd be interested to read what people think of it and how it compares to the first edition version.

Re: Almarr???
Could they be alternative names for the Reikland, Altdorf, and Middenheim? I wonder if the author was being cautious about using official names.

Re: What and where is Zaiyon?
Does anyone know if the reference to Zaiyon is still there in a fourth edition handout or elsewhere?

Re: General WFRP production update
It's good to see Cubicle 7 getting organised in terms of the updates they put out, and perhaps the new printers will mean things speed up a bit, but i would still like them to sort out their RSS so i don't have to keep getting notified about their updates second hand, much as i appreciate those seco...

Re: Official WFRP module for Foundry VTT released!
I read Chuck's post about it and it seems like a smart move on Cubicle 7's part to support this work.

Re: Martin McKenna
Ha, I did get a little nervous unwrapping them. I don't know how well it shows in the picture, but the technique of these images, like those in Death on the Reik, was a combination of pencil and ink that is just fantastic. I bet. Now you point it out i can see what you mean about the combination of...

Re: Martin McKenna
@Chuck has posted some pictures here: https://www.windsofchaos.com/?p=631 and it reminded me of how characterful Martin's illustrations were and how each seemed like an illustration of a real person. I wonder how much of WFRP's reputation for gritty realism is down to Martin. @Chuck: WOuld you be ab...

Re: HP Lovecraft
I'm curious what is meant by 'sympathetic' in this instance. An example might help.Herr Arnulfe wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:30 am - indescribable horrors that are sympathetic to black protagonists.
Is this simply skin colour or are there other changes?

I'm less familiar with fourth edition but thinking in more first edition like terms: couldn't there be a percentage chance of having the skill to start with?

Re: Alternate Castle Wittgenstein maps
C7 announced that they corrected some scale on the map for the castle in the new DotR PDF. Does this fix it? It depends what it is they've done. If they've simply rescaled the whole map then i don't think it would fix all the problems, and i think it would create more. As i recall one of the proble...

Re: Best object quests
The campaign that came in the Advanced HeroQuest main game was essentially a broken object quest in four parts (or five parts if you count the 'surprise' added section at the end of the fourth part separately). You wouldn't need to buy the whole game, only the rulebook. I’m not sure there’s really ...

Re: Travel times for Death on the Reik
I was thinking fourth edition specifically for some reason otherwise i would have linked you to the companion straight away. I suggest a read through Gideon's full companion if you're playing The Enemy Within Campaign. So far, although some things have been added, some things omitted, and some minor...

I think there was something on @Gideon's Awesome Lies blog, but i can't find it now. The feedback i've read is that the travel times are a bit of a mess.
