Re: Best object quests

Spoiler
The original Dragon Warriors Book 1 had an object quest for a king's treasure. It turned out that his treasure was the grain necessary to feed his people, or something like that.

Re: Best object quests

Spoiler
The campaign that came in the Advanced HeroQuest main game was essentially a broken object quest in four parts (or five parts if you count the 'surprise' added section at the end of the fourth part separately). You wouldn't need to buy the whole game, only the rulebook.

Could you include being in league with greater or lesser daemons, along with various motives, as options?

Re: Enemy Within: What if the Lieberung inheritance is real?

Some sort of guild (or other type of organisation) membership perhaps? It could come with benefits and obligations, which could be dependent on the member being in the organisation's jurisdiction. It could also be useful for the PCs and the GM later in the campaign. Perhaps there are members of a (c...

I like the way this spoiler mark up works. I think the eye is an appropriate symbol for this forum. Appreciated Chuck.

Re: Magic and Alignment

Off the cuff... It would suggest to me that the practice of magic, to some degree, draws on and/or is influenced by the temperament (or some such) of the practitioner, and that it feeds back upon the practitioner. I also recall it being written somewhere that souls (the souls of the dead at least) a...

I have a PDF of The Restless Dead. Do you know what Vengeance Of The Gravelord is a reworking of?

Re: Death on the Reik Update

I wonder how much of that is actually new content. It looks like the River Life Of The Empire has been expanded on. The Emperor Luitpold appeared in the Warhammer Companion. I think Vengeance Of The Gravelord is at least based on a previous publication, but it's not one i ever had and i can't quite ...

I'd be very interested to know what people think of that. I've been putting off ordering DotR and its Companion.

@Skerrigan . I notice you've number these Ubersreik Adventures 00a and 00b. Does these mean they are designed to be played before the official Ubersreik Adventures (01, 02, etc.)?

I like the dark light concept. I think the 'Light and Dark' miracle should offer an improved chance of noticing something that wasn't noticed before.

Re: Bundle of holding, why without Doomstones 5?

I can't see Heart Of Chaos on DriveThruRPG either. I don't think it would hurt to offer them your copy, though from my previous communications with them the process as i understand it means taking it apart so that each individual page can be scanned, so you wouldn't get i back in one piece. Check th...

Re: Bundle of holding, why without Doomstones 5?

You mean the WFRP 1E Sorcery Bundle of Holding ? Technically there never was a Doomstones 5 as such, there was a Doomstones Volume 3, which is effectively the same thing. My guess is that it isn't included because they made the PDFs from the physical collection that they had and it appears that what...

Re: Is Imperial polytheism realistic?

Warp is a full synonymous to Magic (magic is the vernacular word, warp is the scientific word) and entity is a close synonymous to being. So the two first categories designate the same beings or the same entities... It seems to me that the difference between warp and magic in the Warhammer world is...

Re: Is Imperial polytheism realistic?

I suggest three broad categories of gods (and a fourth if your Warhammer world includes interaction with those who are, or were, technologically more advanced): Warp entities Magical beings (Technological superiors) Fictions There is nothing to stop people 'creating' fictional gods in the Warhammer ...
