I recall there being a small article about using Ogres as playable characters, but i'm having trouble finding it just now. Was this a real thing, or some fan product that i'm remembering as being much better made than it actually was? And does anyone know where it might be if it's just fanwork?

Seems to be what i remember.....guess it wasn't official after all! too bad. i'd hoped there was official material on the matter but this'll do.

Andy's document was published in Black Library site during WFRP2. I think it is pretty (semi-)official. It is good document about Ogres. If you really want more about Ogres, then WFB: Ogre sourcebooks… If you can find them somewhere.

You may be thinking of 'Stomach for a Fight: Ogre PCs' by Richard Leon in Warpstone 21.
