WFRP3 Resources

I thought it might be good to have a central place to collect all the fan-made resources for WFRP3. I don't have links for everything yet, but I'm working on it. If you spot anything missing, or have links that aren't here, please let me know!

First off, the official FFG forum is not really active anymore, but it still has a wealth of resources and experience to be drawn on. I highly recommend having a dig around if you're after something not covered here: https://community.fantasyflightgames.co ... -roleplay/

Liber Fanatica produced three volumes dedicated to WFRP3 as well as a conversion for the WFRP2 campaign The Thousand Thrones

• Ubersreik by Night – Criminal guilds, organisations and NPCs

I have most of these, and I must say that they are very useful. Thanks for compiling the list.

No problem, hopefully people will find it useful.

I've added some more resources (via Discord) and added a couple of links.

Are there any scans of the cards from Omens of War, Lure of Power etc floating around? From what I understand, the special rules and actions there add quite a bit of variety to the game.

Please note that the copyright to all WFRP3 materials is still Games Workshop's (or FFG's?), so posting/sharing card scans is copyright infringement, which is punishable by law.
I also suspect that even simply asking for copyright-infringing materials is against the rules of the forum.

It is. Please do not ask for, link to, or otherwise discuss or promote illegal activities on this forum.

Yeah, this is why I wanted to stick to just the unofficial/fan-made resources.

Great stuff! I've seen some of this before, but not any of the adentures. How familar are you with them? See, I've just started GMing for a group that's going through Averland to Grenzstadt and Black Fire Pass, and it would be great to have some smaller pre-made adventures to use. But I'd rather not have to read through all of them in detail to find all the things I'd need to change for it to work in a different location, and determine to what degree they would even be usable. So if you (or anyone else for that matter) know which of them might be best suited for such an adaptation, I'd greatly appreciate if you could tell me.

This is the reason why I, when I've written adventures it's occured to that others might use (I've dabbled, but it's nothing great so far) have always written a "this is how you can adapt this" blurb near the beginning. I think i should be damn near mandatory.

Sorry to say I haven't played any of the adventures (I'm fairly new to GMing myself and haven't got past the official ones yet). I guess some will be easier to adapt than others. For example, I know from reading it that "The Steward of Grauwerk Manor" relies on a very specific location and a lot of foreshadowing in previous adventures. Which is not to say it couldn't be adapted, just that it might not be worth it.

Totally agree that having suggestions for adapting adventures is a good idea!

Fair enough. I mistook you for more of a curator, but I'd much rather have you sharing without knowing much than not sharing at all.

Here's an idea: maybe we could make a coordinated effort to compile some third-party metadata for the adventures? That way, knowing their contents and viability for any particular campaign would be much easier. It would help GMs out a lot, I think.

Here are some proposed categories:

- Location. Country, province, town/city. Specific, generic, or easily adaptable. Primary and secondary locations. Begins and ends where?
- Environments. Urban, rural settlement, forest, hills, mountains, farmlands, etc. Specify as needed.
- Character rank. How specific and/or adaptable is the adventure's difficulty?
- Enemies: group, species/race, factions, particular characters.
- Allies (as above)
- Action focus: combat, investigation, survival, exploration, intrigue
- Particular cards involved: Location cards, item cards, etc.

For an example, take Swords and Shadows by Dave Allen.

- Location: Empire, generic/easily adaptable.
- Environments: rural, road between towns, forest, wizard's tower.
- Character rank: 1, but easily adaptable.
- Enemies: Daemons of Tzeentch, The Blue Scribes. Cult of Verena (possible).
- Factions involved: Daemons of Tzeentch, Cult of Verena, Grey College.
- Duration: short (1 session).

Sounds like a great plan to me. I've been intending to read some of these adventures, so that gives me an excuse to actually do it.

A lot of them are things you have created or linked to elswhere, so my thanks go to you.

Doing some updates this week. Happy New Year to all WFRP3 players!

Ok, everything has a link now (finally found a couple of missing fan scenarios). Added the Gong Farmer career by Graeme Davis*. Always on the look out for additional resources, so let me know if you find anything not on the list!

*I suggest making a couple of minor modifications: Make "No sense of smell" part of career ability; second Talent should be Reputation.

Fantastic work, here. I'm looking to pick up a campaign from a couple of years and these are awesome.

Thank you!
