It looks as though Rough Nights & Hard Days is due to appear this month:

Just in time for Christmas. :)

I'd always be skeptical where C7's Douglas Adams approach to publishing deadlines is concerned, but you never know.

-(And to be clear, I prefer them to take their time than rush something full of typos out).

I see the 'Starter Set' has an estimated release date of 'May 2019' on that website ( https://www.miniaturemarket.com/cb72401.html ). I suspect Miniature Market is being cautious with their estimated release date in the case of the 'Starter Set', given the scheduled release of 'First Quarter 2019' given on the Cubicle 7 website ( http://shop.cubicle7store.com/epages/es ... ts/CB72401 ), which, if correct, would suggest that Miniature Market are fairly certain of the estimated release date they've given for 'Rough Nights & Hard Days' .

Looking forward to it . Glad Cubicle 7 is having Graeme revise, update, and add to it instead of reprinting the scenario again, for the umpteenth time.

As a side note, good to see you here, Gideon! Love your blog!

Thanks. I'm glad to be here. Many thanks for setting this place up.

I'd like to mention the forum on my blog. I haven't yet, as you said you wanted to test the forum out first. Let me know when you're ready, though, so I can make a post.

I'd say go ahead. This place is ready as it ever will be.

Thanks!

Just noticed that miniature market moved this title for June, which kind of makes more sense.

I thought January was optimistic, but July seems too far off for my liking as well. That said C7 haven't even opened pre-orders yet, much less given a list of what product we can expect this year.

I try to be patient, yes I do. :D

It is now "expected in Quarter 2 2019".

Graeme Davis writes, re. Edge of Night (on Facebook): "I adapted the masked ball sequence for the final chapter, but not the rest. And Andy Law made sure it dovetails with the Ubersreik of the Starter Set."

I was particularly amused by the line:

Beyond the fact that Gnomes are potentially a bit silly, or could be seen as a lift from other fantasy roleplaying games...

What, you mean like virtually everything in WFRP?

Glad to see them back, but while I really like that picture I do hope they're not all dodgy criminal types.

Regards,

Robin

we've had two pictures so far, and they've been pretty dodgy looking so far.....

I can't say I'll be including Gnomes in my WFRP games, but if they want to write rules for them, whatever. I'm looking forward to the adventures anyway.
Andy Law wrote: Similarly, Demigryphs had never been in WFRP before, but there are rules for them, too.
But this is going too far! Ignoring a WFRP3 campaign, and one written by Graeme Davis no less!

I'd really like to know, when is this coming out and how much is it. Everything else is gravy. And possibly 1-2 pages of preview as a pdf?

I read "Quarter 2" as "June, if we're lucky" …

And my Friendly Local Gaming Store has it listed at the same price as Starter Set. I assume they have that price from C7, and it seems right.

I expect next month to come in pdf.

I expect nothing.

(I'd also love a more precise date than Quarter 2, like 20th July).

I'm normally a patient guy but I find it easiest not to think about WFRP4e and it's Douglas Adams approach to release dates. I'm running WFRP2e, so I've got a whole load of stuff to run before I -need- to run WFRP4e. :D

That said I wanna read Rough Nights. :D

It's probably better to expect nothing, but I would hope for an earlier release date, like 19th July.

Rough Nights & Hard Days is finally available for pre-order and you can buy the .PDF right now.

-Man, the artwork is amazing!
-The gnomes look good to as PC race (far better than elves IMO)
-It's look like a 5-parts campaign fun to play and easily fit in TEW (at least, if the the new version still have a Reik thematic like the 1st edition). You can run these adventures individually if you want, but that's heresy!
-Each adventures use the "time frame" type of adventures we know from Rough Nights at the Three Feathers
-Importants NPCs have now a complete list of skills and Talents, like PCs
-A sequel is already planned for RNHD... And a Middenheim sourcebook too!
-Oh, and I'm in love with Grand Countess Emmanuelle von Liebwitz of Nuln! ;)

It really is a cool book.

Not a fan of this vampy version of Emmanuelle, though. She has been left to our imagination for so long that it felt a little weird. I had a feeling C7 would finally bring her out, but I have to say this is not what I had in my head. But that is pretty much my only "criticism" and it's really more a matter of taste.
