Chuck, you asked for feedback on the site, so I thought I'd offer mine. It's pretty short, though, because I think the site's great. I like phpBB in general and think this is a nice example of it. I think you have the right number of subforums. The only things I would personally change are:

- Make the recent posts list a list of recently active threads, showing the last post in each active thread. Often there are several posts listed in the same thread.
- Add the Register and Login text next to the icons on the mobile site. It's otherwise not obvious what those buttons are.

My feedback:

Oh the orange!

I like the orange. I also like the change of name for two of the subforums to 'Den of Tzeentch' and 'Sigmar's Tavern'.

I'd also like some kind of "See New Posts/Active Threads".

Maybe another subforum lie the Bazaar at StS could be useful.

Hmm, good feedback. I'll look into editing the files for the "most recent" stuff.

The "orange" is this theme's "red" version. I might dig a little into the CSS and see if I can make it a bit darker, or at least more red.

The Bazaar forum -- maybe. It never seemed to be used much at StS.

Maybe a stickied thread with links to useful sites could be added?

Good idea! What sites should be included?

On the top of my head, Cubicle 7, Liber Fanatica, MadAlfred's WFRP page. I suppose a few of the users from StS (and now Winds of Chaos) have websites with WFRP content.

Most of the different symbols, such as 'hot topic' ( i presume ) and 'new posts', are fairly intuitive, but i don't know what the '?' symbol means, so a key to what the different symbols mean would be useful. Alternatively, or additionally, having a text description pop up in response to hovering over a symbol could also be useful.

The '?' symbol is a topic icon, used to differentiate different types of new posts. I'm not a fan, so I removed them. You'll still see the "hot topic" and "new post" icons, as they're part of the theme.

The 'new post(s)' icon is useful, so please do keep that.

What do you know, removing topic icons removed the new post icon. Can't have that!

If you can add in the WFRP Fan Index I'd appreciate it:

Trying to centralise/archive fan work, plus a record of official/third party stuff. Still very much WIP, lots of catching up to do.

Now that you've added links between the forum and your main site, how about changing this:

Currently, both "Home" and "Board Index" leads to, well, the forum index (with or without the index.php). Logic suggests "Home" should link to whatever web site houses the forum, which would be the main Winds of Chaos site. Just a suggestion!

Added some more sites to the Resources topic.

Cap, thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into changing the "Home" link. It's been a while since I've gotten inside the code of a phpbb forum, so no promises.
