I wanted to share a series of weather generators I’ve just published. I started off using them in Warhammer and it's worked great for bringing weather more to life in my campaign.

Easy to use, this file contains 16 custom weather generators differentiated by season and climate. These "Hex Flowers" help you map out and plan the impact that weather and preparation have on getting from point A to point B. This simple yet elegant system helps you create and vary weather for your journeys and adventures in a way that is both visually impactful and easy to interpret.

I use them in twilight2000, HârnMaster, Warhammer and D&D, but this is system agnostic and has enough climate and season types to cover almost all rpg types in fantasy or modern settings.

Please check out the previews for more information and the files at drivethrurpg and itch.

I do like this idea. If i custom made some of these with your system would i be limited to the exact number and layout of hexs?

Nothing would stop you making a larger or smaller one. The layout could be very different too. Or even simply, if you were someone with very cold and long winters you could stop the hexes wrapping around through the snow hexes, for example.

I’ve had a blast with them (hence why I made them). Nice to have on the table so everyone can see. I tend to roll once a day. Sometimes twice. It has nice implications for travel, getting wet etc, which grounds the campaign I find.
