I'm about to start DMing Enemy Within campaign, and was about to do it in 1st edition format, but after starting reading 4th edition I think it might be an improvement. But I love using everything from every supplement in 1st edition including the whole Background tables, is there any conversion for the distinguishing characteristics table?
Also for the Weight Characteristics Modifiers, and would you consider them compatible with 4th?
They only thing I'm still trying to understand from 4th is the almost disappearance of wood elves and the appearance of high elves.
